Tinting - Rusty2009 - 28:th-Oct-2014

Right now I have my AFL I'm debating weather a very light tinting would be good.

I'm not on about dark just a light coat.

Thoughts?

a medium tint around 18% will still work with the auto Dim mirror
and wont be such a problem at knight
i have gone very dark and i pay the price in the dark.

Are you on about tinting your lights or windows

Tinting - Rusty2009 - 28:th-Oct-2014

Lights windows were done 2 days after getting the car.

All that effort to get xenons working bright and light then tint them? I wouldnt

Have to agree with Camaron on this one also a tint over the drl would do them no favours at all

I think a very light tint would look good. Pretty sure the SRi models have slightly darker lights. You could always flyeye then if you don't like it easy to remove.

Don't think any tint on the headlight will be mot legal unless it is fly eye but the light out put will not be as good ether way but saying that I do like the look of a very light tint

I have some tint spray left so I will do one and see what it looks like and see if affects the light output if it does and or I don't like it I can remove the tint.

As said I was only thinking of a very very light tint.

NOOOOOOOOOO dont tint spray them it will look carp and how do you get it off ??

Tinting - Rusty2009 - 29:th-Oct-2014

buy the the stuff they sale to wipe it off

With the spray I can get a much lighter coating than you can with a film.

but does that come off plastic ? or just glass
i would try that first to see if it works also

a local tint company by me quoted £35 to do the lights and there tint looks very good and light
they showed me a car they had done and it looked very good

Tinting - Rusty2009 - 29:th-Oct-2014

Tinting - tucpal - 29:th-Oct-2014
