Wow this is big news! Did you sell the Astra privately mate? Insignia looks nice. What you doing about the wood trim?

RE: Progress thread Tucpal - bhalay207 - 25:th-Oct-2015

I wasn't a fan of the wood... Nothing a Sri interior won't solve

RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 25:th-Oct-2015

it has got the gloss black interior trim thank god already the last owner has some taste ha ha
agreed the wood look sucks ha ha
i px the astra as the deal on the siggy was to good to pass up
the insignia only has 26k on the clock also

RE: Progress thread Tucpal - bhalay207 - 25:th-Oct-2015

Ahh, can't beat taste Haha.

Well an upgrade to an insignia is a logical one. Looking forward to see what you do with it. Someone will land lucky with your astra that's for sure.

My hawk like eyes also see a pentagon number plate.... Was it a local purchase or a trek?

RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 25:th-Oct-2015

got it from bury at another car dealers but from new it was a pentagon car
got to check with vauxhall that all the service up dates are done etc just to be on the safe side
but it has a full vauxhall history but best to still check

RE: Progress thread Tucpal - bhalay207 - 25:th-Oct-2015

Going to say, there's a pentagon in my neck of the woods. Best to be certain mate.

RE: Progress thread Tucpal - JohnL - 6:th-Nov-2015

I do like the Insignias and they do tend to good spec's. I'm sure I read somewhere that the j was meant to dip the passenger side mirror but then never found where I read it. Would love to retro fit the function not sure if it's possible though. Anyway it's a great looking car you have there!

RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 6:th-Nov-2015

cheers mate

Progress thread Tucpal - Tonto - 6:th-Nov-2015

RE: Progress thread Tucpal - Danny Talbot - 10:th-Feb-2016

Just asking about your old car mate. What was it like lowered and on 19s?

RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 10:th-Feb-2016

it was 40mm lowered on 19 eibach at one point but i removed the springs due to rubbing issues
inside the wheel front arches.
