RE: Progress thread Tucpal - WhelanUK - 28:th-Aug-2015 Glad you got her back, looks spot on! RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 28:th-Aug-2015 ok cheers everyone so new toy time i picked up a biturbo steering wheel on ebay at a good price in mint as new condition it is padded and thicker just like the VXR one and it is nice and comfortable and a massive improvement over the standard leather one it also has a flat bottom i am really happy with this it is so much better. RE: Progress thread Tucpal - bhalay207 - 28:th-Aug-2015 Oh I like that! How much if you don't mind me asking? Sent from my LG G4 using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 28:th-Aug-2015 £135 mate its of a 64 plate bi turbo. RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 29:th-Aug-2015 WoW what a difference the steering wheel makes as it is thicker and softer it is a joy to use now and it just seems to turn better now also well recommend. RE: Progress thread Tucpal - bhalay207 - 30:th-Aug-2015 I've fanciesd once of these since I saw an advert for a bi turbo. At least with this you don't have to have a vxr badge. I have a thing about wrong badges on cars Haha. Sent from my LG G4 using Tapatalk You did get a good deal mate! Sent from my LG G4 using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 30:th-Aug-2015 I found a use one in Wolverhampton on ebay could not resist I agree with the vxr one having to remove the badge etc the biturbo one is basically the same apart from the extra chrome and badge well worth it totally transformed the feel off the drive RE: Progress thread Tucpal - Lewis6317 - 30:th-Aug-2015 nice wheel mate, I still love your cd500 navi system Progress thread Tucpal - bhalay207 - 19:th-Sep-2015 Strange thought, Does the Zafira Tourer SRI come with the bi-turbo steering wheel? Seen this on Auto Trader..... Sent from my LG G4 using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 19:th-Sep-2015 just got the chrome trim for the front dash speakers still waiting on the trim for the center speaker to arrive but the left and right ones look good only issues i have had is that i had to change the sticky backing bhalay i think it all depends on the trim as this steering wheel will come on other models insignia astra etc but they tend to be on high end spec like bi turbo etc RE: Progress thread Tucpal - bhalay207 - 19:th-Sep-2015 I don't know you know... Have a gander on Auto Trader, I'm sure this is standard on the SRI which could mean a cheaper purchase price given its not a fancy model. I'm off to ebay to enquire on some broken models lol. Nice chrome by the way, I was a little dubious at first but they look good. Sent from my LG G4 using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 19:th-Sep-2015 just had a look around and yes looks like the new shape zafira sri spec car does have the biturbo steering wheel but none about at the min. worth a hunt good luck Progress thread Tucpal - Rusty2009 - 19:th-Sep-2015 Looks good mate deffo going to order mine now just need to sort the problem out 1st. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 21:st-Sep-2015 i may not even fit the center chrome trim around the dash speaker now i noticed yesterday they really do reflect on to the windscreen i can cope with the two side ones but as for the center trim that will reflect in the center off the screen and it will be very annoying RE: Progress thread Tucpal - sheppy1 - 21:st-Sep-2015 The reflections causes by those remind me of the awful reflection you get in the corsa D with the metallic centre trim they have Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk Progress thread Tucpal - Tonto - 21:st-Sep-2015 They look really smart, shame they reflect! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread Tucpal - bhalay207 - 24:th-Sep-2015 You know the steering wheel... Mine doesn't have the speed limiter button at the moment but the new one does. Will it cause issues if I just plug it in or do I have to swap it? Sent from my LG G4 using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 24:th-Sep-2015 Just swap it over as it wont won't work follow rustys how to easy to do but you will have to do it [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES] RE: Progress thread Tucpal - sheppy1 - 27:th-Sep-2015 With regards to the steering wheel, did you literally just pull your other one off using rustys tutorial and swap the airbag over? Have found one for 250 and would love it as long as it's not a hack and bodge job that need to be done. Cheers Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread Tucpal - tucpal - 27:th-Sep-2015 just follow the how to straight swap over easy 20 min job RE: Progress thread Tucpal - sheppy1 - 1:st-Oct-2015 Ta mate! Does look easy tbh [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES] be worried about blowing the airbag though! Ha Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread Tucpal - bhalay207 - 1:st-Oct-2015 The airbag won't blown without an electrical charge mate. Just make sure you disconnect the battery and wait 10mins Sent from my LG G4 using Tapatalk RE: Progress thread Tucpal - sheppy1 - 1:st-Oct-2015 Look out for the photos of me coveted in air bag powder looking pissed off at Xmas when I try and fit it and fail hahaha.
