Didn't have to take anything apart or anything like that... That G1W you have is the cam I've just removed and thrown in the cupboard when I got my SJ4000 lol. I never remove my cam unless I use it for something else which is rare. But mine is a GoPro rep so I can use it under water or stick it to the outside of the car. I had mine too low, I now stick it behind the rear view mirror and it can't be seen but still covers the same field of view [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]. Also the one I got was only 37 quid and quality is almost as good as the go pro I have!
