Code p242f-00 - Ruzty - 9:th-Aug-2020

So my dpf light came on and noticed before that my astra would not do dpf regens anymore. I plugged in my tester and got these codes. I have to do a forced regeneration using the tester every 250km and these codes keep coming up. Do i need to replace my dpf filter?[Image: b6f16ac536872cffeacfa2c019cf7935.jpg]

I think they mean out with (just a typo error).

Before you start replacing parts I would get someone who knows the system and fully understands it there is a company called DPF doctor
https://www.the-dpf-doctor.com/

I know Adam from AC autotech has been fully trained by them and he really knows his stuff always first time fix.

Worth paying their diag fee and saving money.

I think i will delete the dpf as im not a fan of them. Yes costs more than cleaning but at least there is no more hassle.

I thought dpf was a legal requirement and would fail MOT if tampered with? How did you get on with doing this?
