Centre console Aux in question - Mr_Benn - 12:th-Jan-2019
I hope someone here has seen this before because I have been through the owners manual and googled quite a bit with no luck.
I have a 2010 Astra (J) SRI.
Next to the cig lighter to the right I have the 3.5mm Aux in socket.
On the opposite side (where the USB would be if included) there is another socket (see pics) and I have no idea what it's for.
Looking in there with a torch it looks like it has metal contacts for power of some kind.
Does anyone know or have any ideas? I don't really want to start pulling things apart without a real need.

It's an aftermarket fitment what ever it is.
I'd pull off the fascia and see where it's running to.

Yep, I think that's what I'll have to do. I don't recognise the socket at all, it looks like something in between a jack and a mini jack in size.
Possibly used to power something but that seems pointless with the lighter right there...
