Esp,Abs lights - Micky G - 5:th-Feb-2017

Hi , new on here and wondered if any one has come across the same problem I am having.I have a 2014 GTC 2.0Cdti
With just under 40.000 miles .The other day I turned on the ignition and the ESP service & ABS lights have come on and are on permantley .I phoned my local vx dealer as the car is in warranty and they said they want £80.00 to do a diagnostic and fits found to be a warranty issue I would not have to pay.I cannot justify where they get these figures from so I had a mate look at it and have come up with fault codes u0125-00 lost comminications with multi-axis acceleration sensor module & code U0415-00 Has anyone else come across this problem and can you throw any light on what could be the cause ?

Welcome to VXOC.

The fault code are lost comm's which even vauxhall will ignore unless there is another error code to go with them.
What did your mate use to read the codes?

Lost com's could be anything from a broken wire, bad earth etc.
