Newbie from County Durham - CraigSRi - 12:th-Apr-2016

Hi all, came across this site during a google search and was impressed enough to want to sign up Thumbs
I have owned my 60 plate 1.6 Sri Hatch for around 6 months now and decided it's time I looked into improving the audio as I find the standard set up pretty awful, hence my google search that found me here.
Anyway site looks great, will be making a thread soon to pick your collective brains regarding audio installs.

Regards, Craig.

welcome, have you got satnav, if not look at the android one, it can get quite costly to get an aftermarket head unit in, think the fascia adapter is somet like 180 quid, the android one is oem style so it repleaces original head unit without needing a aftermarket fascia, sheppy has said it imporved his sound quality , i think it also adds rca

heres the double din for aftermarket head units, bear in mind you have the cost of the head unit on top, shame the android cant have dab but as long as you have decent amount of data on yoour phone then your ok

Thanks for the warm welcome Thumbs

@ mrtc yeah they are the 2 options I had been looking at.

I'm about to post a thread to see if I can get any informed advice as to which route would be best for me as I'm a little undecided  Confused

Regards to all, Craig

Thanks for the welcome  Smile

I'm in Tow Law, so not too far away.

As for a meet that's something I'd love to do but I will be at work unfortunately, as well as that my car is well overdue it's post-winter detail so would feel a little embarrassed showing off my scruffy J  Blush
I'll get some pics up once the weather permits me to give it the full works  Thumbs
