Leather seats - Rusty2009 - 2:nd-Jan-2016 Right guys I ran out the leather cleaner/care stuff that I got with the car. I got some Mequiar's http://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-cleaning/interior-cleaning-vacuums/meguiars-gold-class-rich-leather-cleaner-conditioner-400ml but I'm not too happy with it TBH it doesn't smell of anything nice and it doesn't seem to put a nice shine on the seats. I have thought of getting the Sonax leather cleaner http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sonax-1837571-250ml-Leather-Lotion/dp/B00104YO20 What do you lot use? RE: Leather seats - sheppy1 - 2:nd-Jan-2016 Hmmmm never heard of the ones you listed but when I got mine I used the autoglym leather cleaner followed by the autoglym leather balm...it made it look loads better than when I first got the leather seats but I've never used anything else to compare it with Sent from my XT1092 using Tapatalk RE: Leather seats - Rusty2009 - 2:nd-Jan-2016 I know most people rate autoglym. This is what I got with the kit when I got my car http://www.scottstrading.com/products/leather-cleaner RE: Leather seats - sheppy1 - 2:nd-Jan-2016 I only use autoglym when possible hmmm do you just spray that stuff on and rub it in? With the stuff I mentioned you spread it all over the seats and then leave it for a bit and rub it in...smells quite nice too and wasn't greasy Leather seats - Rusty2009 - 2:nd-Jan-2016 The Scott's stuff yeah just spray on and rub in/off. The mequiars stuff rub in and then rub off it looks like I've not cleaned them tho Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Leather seats - Nickmagicfingers1981 - 2:nd-Jan-2016 The Autoglym leather treatments are designed to smell like new leather. I'd say they do a good job at it then...It smelled decent when I did it last...probably due another go soon with the stuff Leather seats - Rusty2009 - 2:nd-Jan-2016 Anyone have links to the autoglym halfords do a few Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Leather seats - irmartyn - 2:nd-Jan-2016 http://www.juicydetailing.co.uk/chemical-guys-clean-and-condition-leather-kit.html I used that on the Astra h but don't have leather in the Astra J RE: Leather seats - Nickmagicfingers1981 - 2:nd-Jan-2016 This is the link for the cleaner. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&langId=-1&categoryId=255234&productId=221727&storeId=10001 And this is the link for the balm. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductMobileDisplay?catalogId=10151&langId=-1&categoryId=255234&productId=758291&storeId=10001 Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk RE: Leather seats - sheppy1 - 2:nd-Jan-2016 I got this one last time @Rusty2009 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Autoglym-Leather-Cleaner-Care-Balm-KIT-with-Brush-and-Microfibre-Cloth-/261422765952?hash=item3cde02d780:g:YKgAAOxy3HJTIyrx It comes with the balm, cleaner, buff brush and cloth for the same as the halford balm and cleaner Leather seats - Rusty2009 - 2:nd-Jan-2016 Thanks guys I'll have a good look at them in the morning Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: Leather seats - tucpal - 2:nd-Jan-2016 i agree rusty i have tried the meguiars leather cleaner and it spreads well but it does not seem to make the leather as soft as the autoglym did and also agree no nice leather smell autoglym is better than the meguiar's for sure |
