Has anyone tried op-com on there astra j?
Mark
Very limited even if it does connect. Even vaux-com is limited on the J.

Just wanting to program the radio would save me the £40 and the hassle Vauxhall are giving me as they are just being funny about me getting it done, ive managed to purchase a reset cd400 from a Vauxhall breakers.
There must be a garage near you or someone with an MDI that can do it for you.
Dealers are useless mate TBH.

Rang round and haven't found anyone so far, op-com does list astra j and radio section so il try and have a go of it when the radio comes
i dont believe you can divorce the cd with opcom on the astra j
as you also have to program the BCM and only MDI can do that
in your case VXMODS really is the only one who know what to do correctly
I have a divorced unit just need to program it into the car, Vauxhall have quoted £40-80 and vxmods is 200mile from me the cost of fuel is too much for me to go to him
fair play as it was an ex police car they should do it no problem
looks like that is the way forward then
fredthefrog Wrote:Vaux-com and Opcom is the same software.
Opcom/Vaux-com now works well on Astra J.
can you add any menus or even sirens on the car with it lol
This sounds interesting, could you elaborate on this further fredthefrog
Op-com is a clone of vauxcom and great care should be taken if you do use it as you could render your car useless.
Yes you could render your car useless with vauxcom or MDI, but there is more of a risk with op-com.
Lewis you might get menus with it, TBH I wouldn't use Op-com for much else.
Do you know if the 131223 is the latest version?
