Water in the boot under the wheel mat. The water was coming in through one of the two air vents under the back bumper not closing properly. Took out boot rear plasitc cover where the door catch goes througha flap to contact the lock catch pin. Cleaned it as there was quite a lot of grit around the edge of the flap which had been thrown up with the water when I was in the lake district on snowy roads. That seems to have cured it.

A problem with a noise: like a tapping rope on a flag pole in the wind. Turned out to be front wheel arch liners flapping about when I was doing 50MPH+
The cure was to get some windscreen washer tubing and tuck it in around the gap between the arch liners and the groove on the edge of the front wings, that the liners are meant to fit into. That cured the noise; I have never had it again. Evans Halshaw had not a clue, when I tried to get them to find it and sort it, said they could not get the noise to happen when they tested the car, at the time the car had done only about 14000 miles, and they had never heard of it before.
