Anyone got any tips on removing the old sticky pads used to stick wheel weights on?

I can't get it off used heat hair dryer but won't budge it's doing my head in now.

Autoglym tar remover works a treat

Don't have any of that I do have some other tar remover thou.

apply generally and rub it off with a cloth but dont leave it on over 3 mins
then wash with soapy water
