VXOC Astra-J/GTC - Progress thread Tottybye

Car hours after i bought it

First mod was to De Badged it,

Also i moved GTC badge to front

Next, Was to paint calipers after a snowy period...

After i decided to make a dual exit exhaust, bit of a pain but i think its turned out ok..

Having a few ideas, i bought a can of Plasti dip and played around

With Some birthday money i decided to get rear windows tinted and Front grill partially wrapped gloss black.

After loosing the vauxhall badge(Somewhere on M1) i decided to buy Opel Badges

By chance i came across a VX-Line splitter for Â£20, couldn't turn that down

Next i had some GTC stickers made up to underneath my Side Indicator

Last mod was to have Rear Insert/Diffuser Vinyl Wrapped gloss Black.

Whilst having it wrapped i asked him to put some gtc sticker on and wrap over them.

lovely looking car and looking very good

I was never over sure of the colour seeing pics but seeing it in the flesh it's a nice colour and not all that commen.

Nice touches, I like subtle mods

my exhaust isn't visible :(

Made it myself, just bought a 2nd hand tip and some 60mm pipe and connected it to original pipework Smile

Do u ever get pulled with your plates? Have u got a link??

No, never been pulled about plates. Can remember style I bought. I know they were Â£17.99 off ebay

Tottybye any chance you could post some pics up of the exhaust showing how you ran it etc?

I connected it after rear axle, then just ran it across to other side. Back box on mine sits before the axle, I'm not sure but I thing 5dr sits after axle just behind bumper. Will try and get a pic in morning for you

Made the cut out in the trim yesterday ready.

Little update, have sprayed rear badge gloss black and have had front grill and fog covers professionally sprayed.

much better, how much did that cost?

Â£80 pound, had to have some damaged repair on side of car, so let him do it while he had car.

Also I painted calipers gold and a set of four new tyres!!

You need to wrap your centre caps, they will look a lot better:

I tried it when I swapped badges, wasn't too sure whether I like them or not!

I like the spoiler but not feeling the stripes I'm afraid as too ott
