Thanks for comments. It all costed 20£ and of course my own work.
Those metal elements I have made by my own in my garage.
Roughly how much would it cost for everything needed and in blue if possible please mate?

Do you have any links to bits you've brought?
I bought it from a local shop that sell gas strut the metal element on bonnet is from an other kit that a friend send it to me from China and other type of element will fit , if you find a shop that sell strut it's easy to do a gas strut of 220 Newton (approximately 20 kilos weight) But I can't remember how long it is 60 or 65 cm because the car is on the dealer for gear box repair over a month if I will go tomorrow I will check it

Too short I think mate I'll have to dig them out the parts box.
Glad my insignia has gas strut shame it was not standard on the Astra j
