Think you can get to the cable behind the carpet in boot, it's like bike brake cable.
I've been trying to get info on this and i saw this video of an insignia

The access is made from the wheel plastic.
Anyone with this trouble can confirm if on J's the access is made from the boot like Jp thinks or wheel?
