I was having issues , no right indicator, cant turn off traction control, remote unlock not working.
So got a new bcm, i plugged the new one inwithout programming it and obviously nothing happed, no start no nothing, plugged th old one back in but it wouldn’t start (was starting and driving although faults before)
So igot thenew oneprogrammed, plugged it in, remote unlock works , imdicators work bit car wont start.
Its giving me p0315 error code.
Any ideas?
that comes up with

P0315 Crankshaft Position System Variation Not Learned

how was the new one programmed?

I sent it to a company dash master, they were recommended by someone in a fb group who used them.
When i plugged the fresh bcm in without it being programmed and switched back to the cars one, it wouldn’t start either. It used to start and run and drive before i swapped ( before programming) them
Have you fitted while battery disconnected?

Did you send them your old bcm too

Do you get a message on dash or immobiliser light flashing

Try disconnecting battery for an hour

You could also clear codes and see what other codes happen when starting.
Forst time i disconnected my prginal amd fitted the newone i didnt, but once the new one had been programmed i disconnected it and then fit it, i sent both to of the bcms.
I get
Service vehicle,
Change oil soon,
Open and close driver window.
But when i turn the key to try start it says depress clutch pedal but I have pressed it
I would possibly say something gone wrong in programming side. Have you tried clearing code?

Have you spoken to the company that did it for you?

Like I say try battery off for hour let the car properly shut down then see what happens when you try and start it then. If it still not working I would say you need a reprogram again. Do you still have old bcm?
Sounds like there could be a few things at play here.

1. the BCM could have been spiked when removing installing with the battery connected.
2. the company that did don't really know what they are doing and haven't done the job properly.

I've had a few BCM's come through for programming and cloning after other companies have had a go.

Do you know exactly what they have done?
Just looking on their website and it reads as if they only do half a job.
Ill try the battery off for an hour tomorrow , and see what happens.
I have spoken to a vauxhall specialist , he said something about a clutch learn, he said sometimes when the bcm is changed it needs to be done.
Fingers crossed the battery thing works tomorrow, although the car isnt sensing me pressing the clutch to start
Clutch and brake pedal only need to be relearned if the BCM hasn't been cloned properly or the sensor has been replaced.

Try the battery disconnection but I don't believe it will solve your issues.

When I clone BCM's I first divorce the BCM from the original car then I program the BCM to new car, then I copy key, pedal positions mileage etc over from the old BCM this is the correct way to do it & I've not had a single issue with cars not starting, not sensing clutch is pressed.
As rusty says, looking at what's happening it's far more likely programming than anything.

Battery would only help in clearing codes. If you have the means to learn the clutch pedal it's worth a go . Other than that it needs all re-doing properly.
Appreciate it guys, the specialist is coming round next week to have a look, hopefully the clutch learn fixes things, if not im gonna need a refund.
Thanks guys
