VXOC Astra-J/GTC

Oh **** me these bloody turbo solenoid has gone again, replaced both only 18months ago and only done 14.000 miles, what a joke these are.

Will any fit from another make pref not GM they are ****, I don't get it my Astra H 2009 1.9 has never been replaced and done 110.000 miles.....actually will that fit?

I don't really understand how they work, are they specific to the make of car or would they work on any car if the wiring fits?
Any ideas I would appreciate it as I'm not paying £50 every 18months.

I have had the solenoid fail once and vauxhall just replaced the whole turbo.

If I'm honest I would find a turbo specialist they would be the best to advise they may even have an uprated solenoid which would be better.

There is a turbo place in in Dorset I know they have turbos etc sent to them from all over the place, they are very good and they are very helpful.

Thanks, I've asked them the question, closed until monday, but will see how it goes and see what they can recommend, will update the thread as I go, hopefully they will have a solution.
