Hi all,

I currently own a 1.4T SRI and the stopping power really isn't there. I was wondering how hard it would be to fit a set of VXR Brembo Calipers onto my car. I've found a set of Front Calipers on Ebay and they're reasonably priced. What else would be needed apart from the obvious of Calipers, Discs and pads?

Any help would be appreciated
Not sure on your brembo question, but I thoroughly advocate ebc yellowstuff pads + an upgrade to your discs. I use them on my 2.0 sports tourer which can at times, be going 70 to 0 fully laden. I've never since fitting the yellowstuff pads & discs felt that the brakes were underwhelming. Quite the opposite, it is regularly below zero here and from cold they perform very well.

I'm guessing you have the 5-door?
If so no chance.

I'll agree with @umognog but also add changing the brake fluid every 2-3yrs also helps and you do notice the difference with fresh brake fluid.
