Hello,

The cars 3 years old now and has started making a strange sound from the front wheel when turning to the right. Its like a grinding noise. It started about a month after the front brake disc & pads where changed.
It is most noticeable at low speed and happens when going forward or in reverse.

When I first got the car i took it back to the dealer as at speeds of around 40MPH and above there was a wining sound, only noticable when the windows are open. They couldn't find a problem and I didnt push it at the time. Every year as summer start I get reminded of the issue when I open my windows.

I was thinking it might be the bearing but unsure, any ideas?
It would be great to get the part code of the front wheel bearings/hub as on Euro car parts it says there two fitments for my car.

Cheers
Could be a few things better getting on a ramp and having a good look.

In terms of part number/s we need to know your reg.
As Rusty says, it could be a number of things,
I've come similar noises caused by a stone getting caught between disc and backplate or a slightly bent backplate or something similar touching disc (should reduce over time as whatever is touching disc wears away) it could be wheel bearing noise (which will get worse over time)
without hearing the noise and inspecting the offending brake its impossible to say for sure

Apologies for not getting back to you. Totally forgot that I had posted on here.

Its due for a service soon so will ask for an investigation into the noise.

Would it be possible to PM you my reg for part codes?

I have another question about paint codes but will create a new post for that so its searchable for others.
Yes you can PM your reg.
