r16 means the tyres are 16" in diameter, so you'll need 16" wheels.

Depends which braking system you have. J60 or J67.
I think the 1.4 has J67 braking system, so you'll need the wheels for that.
205/55/r16 is the wrong size for 16" Astra wheels though. They should be 205/60R16, so with a reduced side wall profile the speedo will over-read slightly. There are also insurance implications to consider as well, having the wrong sized tyres fitted.

PCD 5x105 (distance between neighbouring bolts is 61.7mm), centre bore 56.6mm
