Hi there this is exactly what I want and need to do. Please can you point me in the right direction I have found a cd500 on eBay and want to purchase everything I need to swap over from my cd400 and would like to add Bluetooth and dab if possible. I’ve done a lot of reading and researching but as you’ve actually
Just done it seems very current.
Many thanks for any help.

you need to talk to Rusty as in the above post, - he's in Bournemouth
Sorry to be a pain, and yes I’ve contacted him, Thankyou Smile if I do purchase a cd500 can it just go straight in to my Astra j 2013 almost a straight swap? But needs extra wiring? Smile

It needs extra wiring to be done, I wouldn't go for the cd500 personally especially on a 2013 I would go navi950 navi650 or navi600.
I just thought maybe the Navi 500 was straight forward or does it not matter. An any of them be made to work with the extra wiring? Thanks for your reply

Any can be made to work with wiring changes.
So the new sterios and all interface just slots in no need for adjustments? where it’s Vauxhall’s own and not after market? Sorry I’m new to all this trying to learn quickly Smile I just thought different makes and models wouldn’t fit to certain aged Astra’s

Your best bet is an astra set, radio ,controls , display , Bluetooth and dab . Then needs programming to your car and the wiring changes done to make it all good.
Yeah that’s what I want to do, but you say the cd500 isn’t any good?

Not as good as the others
If you don’t mind me asking what set up do you have? and what year Astra? Smile

Mines a navi950 rear cam and dab , 950 is by far the best but it looks like there's no map support since 2018.
