Hi,

Quick question - Should a 2013 Astra GTC 1.6t petrol have a plastic under tray? I was filling the screen wash in my car and suddenly realised I could see the ground beneath my engine.

I can't remember my last car not to have one.

Hi

My 2017 1.6 do's not have an under tray, got the car new june must be how they come from the factory.
Thanks for the reply Andy.

I thought all modern cars had them but thanks for confirming it shouldn't be there.
I think the only reason the diesels have them is to keep any debries off the dpf due to the tempatures it gets up to during a regen. So that will be probably why yours doesn't but you would have thought every car at this day and age would have it the undertray.

I assembled this shield for the engine a month ago in my GTC.
