VXOC Astra-J/GTC

The plastic thing underneath the front bumper - what is it for and can it be either removed and not cause any issues or be easily replaced?

I bought it with the bit in the middle not being right:



And now I've noticed on the passenger side it looks like it's coming away:





Any help appreciated as always.

IIRC it just clips in it can be removed and left off with no issues or you can replace it.

Just had a look, it is clips but looks like it's covering some noticeable stuff underneath the car. Managed to hook it back up on the passenger side anyway so all good. Cheers
