Hi Guys
I realise this topic has probably been done to death, but the more I read, the more confused I get !
I have a 2015 Astra GTC & am looking to change the registration plate lights to LED. I have bought online with assurances that the bulbs I'm purchasing are 'error free' with latest 'CANBUS Texhnology', only to find the inevitable 'check number plate light' warning the minute I fit them !
I know this is due to the voltage drop from the LEDs being picked up by the car & that a resistor is required to alleviate the problem.
I don't know if this is allowed, but can anyone provide me with a link to a site or private seller who can provide me with LED bulbs that will 'plug & play', cause no damage & will not display any warning ?
Thanks guys !
Davy
