Going To attempt this on the weekend, I've neglected my rear brakes to the point I have no material left (approx 2-3mm I think) and my brakes are making one hell of a noise when braking hard.
I'll follow the how to that's on here (great guide, I did the front ones following it) do I need a winding tool? As I've not got one ☹️

Hi richje100, thought i'd return the favour,
if your car has a manual handbrake then you will only need a wind back tool, however if it's electronic, you can only do it with a diagnostic device i'm afraid, if you can wind the pistons back make sure you keep checking your brake fluid as it may overflow everywhere, the easiest way to take some out is with some twisted up kitchen roll that will soak it up out the reservoir

No you don't need a diag tool.
But yes you will need a rewind tool mate.
Thanks guys, my neighbour thinks he might have one down his garage .

Yep. My spanners seem to be made of cheese aswell. Gave it a good spraying every few minutes and now I'm afraid I will round it off. Looks like a garage job.
