Baz this is what I have for the VXR.

Astra J VXR, DISCS AND PADS, PCD ????

FRONT DISCS 355mm 13370436
FRONT PADS 13411116
REAR DISCS 314mm 13371163 or 13429575
REAR PADS 13417473
I have added all the disc sizes and part numbers in to the how to here
http://www.vxoc.org.uk/forum/Thread-How-...oval-5Door

REAR DISCS for the GTC are the same as the 5 door with 5+115
only the fronts are different
Right, cars booked in at Vx...

Front disc and pads only £330
Front disc and pads fitted £440

I only need rear pads:
Pads only £37.68
Pads fitted £116.40

Seems a fair deal after looking around to do it myself!
sounds shocking to me Lol

Well I am not happy about it
so far it has cost me rear pads were £25 and £50 for two discs from Delphi and total labour is going to be £0 smile:
Yeah but I have a sports car lol

I can find cheaper brands for the pads and rear kit but the front discs are £94 each no matter what so may as well stick with Vx stuff.
sports car Lol it is a hot hatch son Thumbs

the pads i got are genuine GM and Delphi makes the discs for vauxhall Smile
Ok so not only do the GTC have expensive tyres, so are the front discs!
it is a real bad size mate looks like going to vauxhall for them is the only option for the GTC
the only way you can save £226.40 is to fit them your self then
sounds like a good idea mate
Its only £190 to fit, to me it's worth paying that for the hassle to do it myself lol

It's being serviced at the same time & a few warranty bits.
i did the rear pads today i cheated a bit a wound the calipers back with pliers but that worked a treat
no problem at all with having the EPB it did not need reprogramming or anything like that
so i will have to get the discs and pads for the front and get them done soon
the only down side was i know why my car has been picking out every bump in the road
i found a snapped spring on the rear so it looks as if they are as crap as the astra H rear springs were
so i may as well get it lowered then Smile
and also found another nail in my Tyre Thud
I can stop... YAY!

Breakdown of Vauxhall pricing:
Front discs £94 each
Front pads £87 set
Rear pads £37 set
Rear discs £65 each
Fitting fronts £165
Fitting rears £163
Total: £768 odd pence Inc vat

Because I asked nicely I got a 15% discount making it a very reasonable £653!

I am making a note to sell the car before I need new brakes again, in fact the belts etc get changed at 100,000 miles so it may go before then lol
Ouch on the cost. Whilst mine was on they advised that the rear pads on mine could do with been replaced soon as I have about 3mm left on them. Price quoted £157 for them to supply and fit going to get a price for the pads and do them myself.
Unfortunately I couldn't find another other front discs so just decided to get them to do it all.

Pads will be app £37
Hey Guys.
