VXOC Astra-J/GTC

I have something behind the rear view mirror that from the front I can see a lense in, there's also a wire running from it to inside the rear view itself. What's the purpose of it? Ps. Only owned the car for 3 weeks, and new to forums. Thanks.

Ok so there are 2 things it could be.

The HBA (High Beam Assist)

Or it could be the front camera which is used for lane and raod signs.
