So I installed a set of HIDs this evening and was faced with this.
Kit was bought from Lush Lighting 5,000k 35w

Anyone know why they would be doing this?

Cheers

Niall

Do HID ballasts need to be grounded at all?

dont think so, i put them in my vectra without issue, the only thing i had to do was tell the car i was using xenon lamps so it didnt error with the canbus system,  did you buy canbus error free hid set?
can we have a link to what you got from him as you will need canbus cancellers with the kit
