Vauxhall Astra J Android Stereo + reverse camera

This listing is for an Android based stereo for the Vauxhall Astra J.


Will also include a free unused reverse camera.

I bought this stereo and used it in my car for around 9 months. It is an amazing stereo. These stereos still sell for around £300 new which makes this listing a bargain. The screen itself has no marks or scratches on it in the slightest and it looks brilliant in all lighting conditions. There is a small crack in the bottom left and right of the plastic surrounding the screen but they are so small I actually couldn't accurately photograph them and probably would have went unnoticed if I didn't mention it. The screen itself is unaffected by this. I have simply moved onto another car so no longer have any need for this but I will definitely be getting an android stereo in the new one.

Yep... Not sure of the spec differences between the one I have and this one from the ebay link but they both run the same version of Android and both have a quad core processes. Sure there will be some differences and probably from a different manufacturer but will likely work the same.

Not a bad price though for anyone who's looking to upgrade their head unit, as well as improve the interior appearance of their car.

Yep! I'd be tempted myself if I didn't have the unit I did and if I wanted to save money. Doesn't have the SD slot but yeah... Other than that I'm sure it's a good unit for the price!

I believe the GPS/SD card slot is hidden behind the RST GPS button (right hand side), on the same row where the door lock/ unlock and hazard lights are situated.

Aha! Nice! If so then it's better specced than I imagined [SMILING FACE WITH SMILING EYES] good that it comes with the reverse camera too... Those are about 20 quid

Would this be a direct replacement for the current screen or would it need an adaptor to fit?

Also does it run off a SIM card?

It comes with everything you need, screen, screen fascia, leads and main unit. You just remove the head unit behing your dash controls and replace it with the new head unit and plug it in, plus change screen and fascia.

Also you can either hook up a mobile WiFi dongle or a usb dongle to provide the unit with mobile data. I've gone for the mobile WiFi option and it works fine
