Ohh thank you, mate! I am browsing workshop-manuals.com and can't find something helpful, as it has infos only for Astra. If you need VIN, just tell me.

What year do you have?
If you could PM your VIN that may help as there are a few changes across the range.

Thanks for sending the VIN.
Ok so it would appear the Insignia doesn't have a Headliner connector.
I've got the following for you.
****PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE FOR THE INSIGNIA NOT THE ASTRA*****

It should only work at night, did it work ok?

I believe I've done smtgh wrong, cause I couldn't make it work again.
It worked the first time. I covered the sensor in front with some black towel, then with a light a lighted the sensor and the mirror dimmed as it should.
I took power from the wires coming to the reading lights.
Another mirror had these colour codes:

If you've taken power from reading lights you may find they have to be on in order for it to work

I meant from the center light, which has power as long the engine is on, because I tested the conector. I must try again and again...
LE: Rusty, thabk you very much for your help. Today I made it and the mirror works. I had a problem with the conector, but I found another and replaced it.
The only thing I need to do is to find a way to cover nicely the wirring.
And again: thank you!

Hi there, got connection on roof so thinking I just need to get a mirror, seen a few one has sensor on it to automatically turn full beams of , could I use that on and use the cable that goes from roof to mirror with a few other looms if not can I get the loom from connector to lights get new light switch they has auto on it would that work without any vci codes or programming, sorry to bring up trying to get head round a few things before I buy parts etc, cheers??

Just get the auto dimming mirror and loom.
HBA mirror needs programming on IPC and BCM most likely via VCI code (which GM will not supply as it's not on the list).

Hi, I'm from Portugal. I have an Opel Astra J Sports Tourer 1.3. I want to mount an auto dimming rear view mirror. I know where I can buy one, but it misses the loom wiring. Where can I buy one? I think the part number is 13293461. Is that right?

Thank you.
I managed to dismount the three panels (easy), but the full console it's not that easy. I'm afraid to break something. Where should I begin in order to take the console out?
Thanks again.
