Hi All,
I'm having problems with what I think is my air direction blower motor that controls which vent or vents the air gets directed to.
Would be grateful for anyone who has a similar setup, to answer this question:
If you manually set the air direction to your feet only, do you get a lot, a little or none out of the windscreen or frontĀ vents, or does it ONLY come out on your feet?
Thanks in advance
If you open the front vents then you will probably feel hot/cold air coming out pretty slowly. It doesnt just turn off every other vent and open a certain one, it just tries to direct as much of the air as possible in the direction that you want.

Ah ok so what you're saying is that there will always be some air coming out of the other vents?
I need to replace my air direction motor as it appears to be faulty. I can turn the drive wheel the motor would turn and I could not find 3 definitive positions for air to ventsĀ  but found that some also seemed to leak a bit elsewhere, which sounds similar to your explanation.
many thanks
yes mate even when you use the front screen blower, you will still have air coming out from the front ones, not much but if you open them you'll feel it. Im not sure if its pointing up or the front screen one is on if you will feel it by the feet though.

Thanks for that, so I'm barking up the wrong tree in looking for 3 defintive routes, that would make sense, hopefully all that is wrong then is the motor
