The car windows seem to be condensed when i get out to the car. I have checked for dampness in the car but cannot seem to find any. Can anyone help me out? i only baught car in april 2015(2nd hand) and only really noticed the problem in last few months. Still in warranty until march 2016.
Most likely having the blowers set to up or windscreen only when driving
and altering the heater controls from warm to cold to warm
as having in just the up position actually turns the aircon on by stelf
this is to help clear the front windscreen
you can also have the same problem having the windscreen demist on to long
again this turns the aircon by stelf on as the heater warms up the condensation on the heater matrix
avaperats and mists the windows up
cure only have forward and up on to demist or when driving
this turns the aircon by stelf off problem solved
but also check for any damp in the passenger footwell or rear boot.
hope that helps
May have to give that a go myself rusty! I have the same issue

Tucpal,
Thank you for your reply. I just have two questions:
1) what do you men by " turns the aircon on by stelf"?
2) what do you mean by FORWARD and UP when you say"cure only have forward and up on to demist or when driving
this turns the aircon by stelf off problem solved "?

Basically if you set the blower direction to point up at the windscreen or press the front demist button it activates the aircon but doesn't light up the aircon dash light.... Ergo stealth.
You'll find that when you get in the car again and turn it on, the windows with mist up as you have unknowingly been driving with the aircon on. The initial blast of moisture ridden air is what causes the window to mist. As soon as the aircon kicks it it dehumidifys the air and demists the window for you.
