thanks for this rusty it is a big help Wink_1
@sheppy1 here you go mate.
@Rusty2009 That pinouts and schematics are very helpful for me with retrofitting Insignia's heated and vented AGR seats in my Astra. I am trying to find more about hvac module connectors (K33 X1, X2, X3, X4). Do you have somethink about that? Would you be so kind and share it if you have?
Regards Smile
Hello There,
I was referred to here by BigDave after trying to get some help installing heated seats (and steering wheel) in my MY15 Astra J ST.
I posted some details in the AstraOwners forum, while also trying to help another bloke over there.
It should be within my abilities and I am quite confident to be able to do all the wiring guided by your very helpful diagrams ().

Me and the other guy are encountering the same issue, we do not see lights illuminate (heated seats or steering wheel) when pushing the respective buttons on our newly fitted control modules. I also saw that only 3 pins are present in my old one while the new one got 5 pins. Of course I only got 3 cables going to the connector for the heated seats button module.
Does somebody know how the button module is wired up?

To my understanding of the diagrams above, there is a separate HVAC control unit somewhere in the car, I did not yet figure out where. I assume that the wires might go there. Probably the 20-pin K33 HVAC Control Module X2 connector.

I have not installed the required wiring to the 5060 GMLAN Bus to the heated seat control module of the drivers seat as well as the required +12V and ground.
I did not yet install the wiring from the drivers seat to the passengers seat either. But all of this should be pretty straight forward. I intend to leave the OEM Plug as is and use separate high quality plugs only for the heated seat stuff parallel to the OEM plug managing all the safety relevant airbag and occupancy detection stuff. I do not have the right tools and pins to repin the OEM connector.
I am also lacking the fuse box in the boot and all the accompanying wiring too. Therefore I will use piggybacks to attach everything to the glove box fuse box. I am aware that there is only a 100A fuse at the battery positive terminal supplying the fuse box, but since I am lacking the boot fuse box I have an unoccupied extra 100A fuse next to it to make changes after "testing" whether 100A is enough to power it all.
I would be really grateful for anyone but especially for rusty to be willing to help me out with this.

Thanks to everyone considering to help
All the best
Konstantin
1st question how many wire do you have the plug for the heater panel (forgot the 3 pins on the switch panel).

Hi Rusty, thanks for your reply!
My cable loom just has 3 cables.
I figured out what the other two pins are for, its part of the heated steering wheel wiring.
I cannot figure out how to attach a picture.
