Am I right in thinking that the SRI springs are 10mm shorter than the other models?
Only on engines bigger then the 1.4 I believe
As Whelan say's Also I believe they are stiffer as well.
been offered a set off a 2.0CDTI for £67 just thought it might give the drop I'm looking for.
I've got a set of standard VXR springs in my garage

Is that an offer
would they be ok on the 2.0CDTI 5 door and what drop
they probably would work on the 2.0 cdti rusty and would be better than the SRI springs
but as side 10mm lower and sifter with the SRI but you wont really see a big difference
but if you do not want to go to low it may well be a good option over the standard springs
Yeah I've really been thinking and I thought a 30mm drop would be ok but the more I think about that it would be too much some the humps etc round my way are high enough that you can scrape on them even at 5MPH.
So a 10mm would be safe and it will close the gap abit (plus with the "lifetime warranty" they would be too thick too notice)...
What do you think on the price £67 posted for all 4 springs so far?
as long as they are from a 2.0 cdti sri then very good
The VXR springs sit 15-20mm lower than standard GTC springs
yes rusty i do have to be careful over speed bumps
with the 40mm drop still a nice drive but the odd pot hole
can make the car bump but still much better drive than the standard springs
Got a full set here shocks and springs make me an offer
Could do with them gon
Has anyone got a a full set of vxr springs at all?
